Fished Florida Everglades today north towards Holiday Park area (launched from Tamiami Trail ramp and fished the Big L north around 8 miles). Although water levels are still pretty low, levels are slowly starting to come back up, and it showed as fishing was the slowest I've seen in months. Not sure if the recent rain had something to do with the way the fish were acting. Fished the hell out of top water and stickbaits from 2:30pm-7:45pm and managed to land probably 17-20 bass. Did catch a nice 3lb largemouth on a stickbait and hooked up with a monster 6-7lb beauty on a top water popper in the last hour of my day. Probably should have fished a worm today based on how slow the top water action was going

Definitely felt a big difference from the March and April bass fishing madness but still a great day out in the water!
