I had a good laugh Saturday morning. I was fishing Grassy Pond Military Recreation area near Valdosta Georgia with an Abu Garcia STX reel and St Croix Rage rod casting a BPS crankbait. I wasn't having much luck. A lady walks up with a Zebco 33 on a $10 rod. She ties on a treble hook, casts it out and snags a shad. She reels in the shad and cast right back out. Within 5 minutes she has a 1.5 to 2 pound bass. She did this five times while I was watching.
