This didnt get a ton of coverage like I thought it would, I saw it on BassBlaster. Byron Velvick had a serious accident on his way to weighin. Apparently he came around a bend in the river and hut the wake off of a 200ft sight seeing boat doing 60-65mph. According to the boat behind him, Byron's boat was launched 8ft into the air with him and his passenger airborne above the boat. His marshal passenger suffered a severe contusion to one arm and Velvick crack a vertebrate. He is fishing Lake Havasu this week but has been told by doctors to not make long runs and avoid choppy water ect
