Haven't been on in a long time. My 93 year old Dad has Hospice coming in daily now so I'm watching the man I followed in the fields, woods and took with me to the water, watching him gradually fade away. Don't know how long he really has, that is God's business. Hard to watch him become bed ridden and in and out of reality! Lots of good memories to enjoy though and would be much appreciative of any prayers on his behalf!

Tomorrow I will preach the funeral of a dear friend and Church member, the best Deacon I ever had in all my ministry since 84. He was at Ben Thui Air Force Base in Vietnam. He is another guy that the Viet Nam War has killed. These Agent Orange guys, while not "combat" deaths, should get their names on the Wall for they are still casualties of War. (At least in my opinion)

Anyway, would appreciate you folks thinking about and praying for the "Curtis Peavy" Family tomorrow. At least he will get full Military Honors! For that I am so grateful as Curtis was quite the Patriot. He loved this country with every fiber of his being and like most of us, our Oath of Allegiance means more to us today that when we originally took it!

Would be a great day in our Country if it was a requirement that the President was required to have Military Experience. Better drop it before I am in no shape to pray for anybody!

Thanks again for your prayers

Hope you folks have a great weekend.

Take Care Y'all
