Brief reports coming in from Smith Lake:

Date 5/15/2011
Water Temperature: 72
Water Clarity: 0

Air temp very cool for May as it stayed in the 60's with the windy conditions making it seem cooler. Took fish on Shakey Head, crankbaits, topwater. All fish were quality fish for the most part with and average of 2 - 2 1/2 and some over 3! Good numbers of fish and good steady action.

Other reports on Smith:
Water temp 85
Water Clarity: 4ft

Taking fish almost everywhere and all types taken: Spots, Largemouth and even Stripers. Consistant with other reports, fish were take on topwaters in shallow water and few on jigs. Bait choice were Super Spook, Fluke and Shakey head. Interment rain with even storms with hail did not change things or lock them up. Spinnerbaits and Pop-R around the brush for largemouths and the numbers of fish continued to be really good. 40+ fish taken each day fished. Even big Stripers hitting Spooks. Depending on weather changes, the Topwater continues to be good on Smith and will probably on get better through the remainder of May!

Sorry guys, no Marinas, Landings, or Areas mentioned in the located reports!
