If this has been asked before my apologies but I haven't come across a thread as yet!
Does anyone and especially the Alabama folks know of any place in Alabama that sells Ambassadeur parts. I have several older models that I have basically worn out over the years but if just had a new "Pawl" that goes in the level wind gear, I would have at least 4 more usable reels.
At least then, I could at least look like one of them Pros! You know, they got more reels than Front End of the Boat! If all that ever goes over it would be and instant artificial reef!
Anyway was just curious if anybody has an idea where I could locate a shop of some kind that still carries those parts! LOL! When I first started buying those reels, you could get most any model for around $30 or so! Would love to use them again!
