Today was kinda a weird day... Got out in the water by 6:30am (before daybreak) and it was COLD in South Florida standards. Felt every bit of 50's.... Never saw 1 cloud the entire day so it looked like typical cold front clear cool skies. Here's where it gets weird... Usually, with these types of conditions, the bite gets slow and slow worm fishing off the bottom is the norm. well, today, over 50 bass were landed, most of which were caught by fast moving lures like plastic swimbaits, jerking stickbaits, and topwater lures like horny toads, pop-r's, and rovers. My buddy and I had an amazing day. I weighed 5 keepers at close to 15lbs so not a bad stringer if it were a tournament day. biggest bass of the day was a 4 pounder. Man it was nice seeing topwater blowing up!!! I attached a couple of photos for your viewing enjoyment
