With the announcement this week that in essence bans all gun videos and channels from YouTube I made the decision to stop using the platform. I deleted my videos that I had uploaded, unfollowed all but the gun channels, and sent them an email stating my decision and actions.
I know in the end they don't care, but I'm not going to waste my time with a business that wants to treat me like a criminal for being a gun enthusiast. If they allow how-to videos for boys pretending to be girls, girls pretending to be cats, and vegans pretending to be good people, then a video of people shooting soda bottles should be no issue.
