Well, as I was have my coffee this morning and going through the morning highlights on Yahoo news, it stated the 66 troops were killed in the month of August, that’s the most lost in one month in the 10 years that the war has been going on.
With the trauma center not too far away, I can tell when an evac bird is coming into the HLZ, and in 6 days I counted 19.
This month was a RIP, old units out, new units in and a left seat, right seat is conducted.
Just knowing that some were two weeks from going home and others were only a few days into their tour, it’s just heart winching!!!!!!
As you start your day, please add a little prayer for the men and women that are serving our country.
