Battery Problems

Lately I've had two incidences when my cranking battery gave out me in the middle of the lake. Both my TM battery and cranking battery are lead acid types (interstate). Wanted to replace cranking battery with an Optimax type but found out from my charger maker that my charger can't handle 1 lead acid and 1 agm battery. So, I have to buy two agm types for about $235.00 each. Not happy but do not want to have a dead battery anymore.
