Big Waves

I have a new Z-7.Where I fish the wakeboard boats come out about 10:30 or so.When we head back to the dock the huge waves are coming from all directions and if I'm going at any type of speed at all they throw us all over the place.I've tried going a little faster but then I get serious air to the point where it beats my boat and me to death!Any suggestions other than leaving earlier?
