Bimini top question

Howdy... Want to add a bimini top for some shade when we're just loafing around and not fishing. Question: My 17' Terry is dead-on 66" wide from center-to-center on the gunwales (though I'll probably be mounting either inside or outside some grip rails which are alongside the driver/passenger seats on either side). Now, in the tops I'm looking at, the available width ranges are 61-66" or 67-72". I'm thinking I want to go with the wider top, since a top that would fit down to a 61" width seems like it might be a little skimpy. But, would a top that would fit up to 72" be too wide or cause any issues?

So, any insights, opinions or advice, on the width issue, or anything else regarding adding a top? Grateful for any help.
