I bought a 96 Astro 1800 with a 92 150 Merc on it. Life was good. Very Happy! Took said boat out on the Mississippi for a short cruise. Didn't see or feel anything bad. Pulled the boat out and found the cavitation plate on the left side is bent up and has about an 8" crack.
Can they be welded or did I screw myself hard on the first day?
