Looking at my arsenal, I have realized that 6 out of my 8 baitcasters have braided line on them.... Only my crankbait and spinnerbait rigs still have mono. For flipping worms/jigs in heavy stuff or fishing a frog, stickbait or top water which require longer casts, I have noticed a strong preference for braid since there is no stretch involved with setting the hook.
