I am in the market for a boat of my own. After about a month of looking, lurking on boards, and reading, I am getting close.
I started with the tin boats -- BassTracker 175txw, but none in stock in local area.... the Tracker ProTeam 190TX is 19K with a 90hp Merc! Went to a local shop, and they are selling Trition Explorer 18 with a 115 Opti for 21K. This is the same price as a Lowe HP18 tin boat!
I am leaning towards the Triton glass, as the fit and finish seems head and shoulders above the mass-produced trackers...
So my question is: Anyone fish or own a Triton 18 Explorer with a 115? Like it? Is it worth the 4K to move up from a tin 175txw?
I am itching to buy, but thinking perhaps a better deal at the boat show in January? ARGH!
