Just wondering about the DMV connection from Auto & Boat?

No Its not a big concern because I'm drunk, but just wondering being the topic came up at work today.( & I'm drinking right now before I go to bed. )

We all agreed today at work that if you get pulled over & they wanna give you a DUI test & you fear you might fail the test for sobriety, That its probably better to refuse the test & let them take you in & Let them suspend your drivers lic. for one year ( I'm a driver for a living & so we were having this discussion ).

But if you end up with a DUI bust your screwed for what I think is seven years or maybe its 10 years. ( Its stays on your record all that time & effects your work & insurance & everything else that goes with it.

But what about a DUI while driving a boat?
I assume it goes on your driving record for cars as well?
Especially being I'm a commercial driver. ( we have a .04 BAL vs a .08 for regular Class c drivers.. )

Have any of you ever had to deal with such an issue?
(I have never had a DUI issue in my life..)
I assume most of you wont want to admit it.
& I can understand that.
But if you can tell us about what happend to a guy you know , where this happened.
I like to hear the stroies..
