Daiwa’s new LASER IMPACT Salt Pencil 110F Topwater Lure
Daiwa is here to blow your mind with laser beams attached to their lure with the new LASER IMPACT Salt Pencil 110F. A new hybrid lure from the minds at Daiwa, this is a mix of a topwater popper and twitchbait. Perfectly comfortable with just being chugged along like a normal popper on top, or twitched subsurface with a darting action like a twitchbait. The mid-sized LASER IMPACT Salt Pencil 110F draws in big topwater bites from all sorts of predators. From bass species in freshwater to snook and redfish in the salt.
“It chugs and pushes water like a topwater but also darts and can go subsurface like a twitchbait,” explained DAIWA Field Marketing Manager, Chris Martin. “Its combined action and ‘utility sizing’ make it effective for saltwater species like redfish, snook, seatrout, and stripers, as well as largemouth and smallmouth bass in freshwater.”

The 4.5-inch Salt Pencil 110F features a gaping mouth on its cupface and has flared gills to create a ton of surface action and splash. With water traveling through the mouth and out the gills when jerked to create even more action and a secondary bubble trail. Inside the durable ABS body of the lure is the Daiwa LASER IMPACT technology that incorporates a specialized internal prism for a full 360-degree pattern. This significantly increases the visibility of the lure, emitting multidirectional flashes. The bait is through-wired to deal with big fish and comes equipped with #4 BKK 3X trebles to deal with larger inshore predators. MSRP for the Salt Pencil 110F comes in at $22.99 and should be available soon.
