So I took my girlfriend out in the boat last weekend. first time, I'm 50 yrs, old and fished alone in a bass boat at 10. I tie a rope to the eye of the boat and to the trailer. Splash the boat pull it to the ramp with the truck on the keel protecter. Park truck and go . OK I can do it in the dark. With girlfriend I let her back me in after boat is near water. I forgot one of the rear tie straps. F dam... Very shallow ramp as lakes low so I'm waving her back more and more gunning it in reverse. Then the nose floats over to the side and I relize the strap. I'm in the water to lift the nose back on the trailer. People looking, girlfriend looking embarrassed. I'm stressing to get boat back on darn crap... Geez. I'm soaked by the time I get it back on the trailer. Pull boat out of the water to remove the strap. Then launch boat. Last night dinner with her family.
