I don't know about the rest of you but we're coming up one of the best times of year for numbers of fish. It's getting to be the time for schooling bass busting on shad back in the coves.
Its really a blast and with lakes that have strippers one cast could be a largemouth and the next a stripper. Plus there's a bunch of ways to get them.
Buzzbaits white and silver blades burned across the surface. Any of a number of topwater hardbaits such as Zara Spook etc. A soft jerkbait will work well. Also Rattletraps and spoons can get down to the bottom of the bait ball where sometimes the biggest bass are.
Anyhow those are the things I use what about the rest of you?
