Arbuckle:: February 7. Elevation below normal, water 45 and clear in the main lake. Largemouth, smallmouth and spotted bass slow on hair jigs, grubs and Alabama rigs at 23-35 ft. along ledges, brush structure, the main lake and rocks; use electronics to find shad and fish at 25 ft. Crappie slow on minnows, slabs, spoons and jigs at 32-66 ft. along drop-offs around brush structure. Report submitted by Jack Melton.
Blue River: January 27. Elevation normal, water 44 and clear. Trout excellent on Power Bait, spoons, in-line spinnerbaits, midges, woolly buggers, caddis flies and egg patterns at 1-6 ft. in channels, below waterfalls and obstructions in current. Report submitted by Matt Gamble, biologist at the Blue River Public Fishing and Hunting Area.


Broken Bow: August 10. Elevation normal, water 81. Largemouth, smallmouth and spotted bass fair on Alabama rigs, slabs and plastic baits at 20 ft. around brush structure, standing timber and points. Channel catfish good on chicken liver, stinkbait, punch bait and worms at 10-15 ft. in channels, river mouth and river channel. Crappie good on jigs, tube jigs, spoons and minnows at 20-25 ft. around brush structure and standing timber. Report submitted by Dru Polk, game warden stationed in McCurtain County.


Eufaula: February 8. Elevation 3 ft. below normal, water clear. Crappie fair on minnows and jigs around boat docks with brush and standing timber. All other fishing slow. Report submitted by Ed Rodebush, game warden stationed in McIntosh County. Hugo: August 24. Elevation normal, water 84. Crappie slow on minnows and jigs at 15-25 ft. in the river channel. Blue catfish slow on cut bait and live bait from the surface to 10 ft. in creek channels and river channel. Report submitted by Jay Harvey, game warden stationed in Choctaw and Bryan counties.


Konawa: July 1. Elevation above normal, water 82. Largemouth bass good on plastic baits, topwater lures and live bait around brush structure, weed beds and shallows. Channel and blue catfish good on dough bait, cut bait, stinkbait and worms at 4-8 ft. along shallows, points and creek channels. White bass and striped bass hybrids slow on cut bait, jigs, spoons and crankbaits in creek channels, the discharge and around points. Report submitted by Tyler Howser, game warden stationed in Seminole County.


Lower Mountain Fork: January 20. Stocked 1,400 lbs., approximately 1,715 rainbow trout. Report submitted by April Drake, secretary at the Southeast Regional Office.


McGee Creek:
July 27. Elevation normal, water 80 and clear. Crappie good on minnows at 16-20 ft. around brush structure. Largemouth and spotted bass fair on Alabama rigs and plastic baits at 20-24 ft. around points and rocks. Report submitted by Larry Luman, game warden stationed in Atoka County.



Murray: August 26. Elevation below normal, water 82 and clear. Largemouth, smallmouth and spotted bass fair on topwater lures, plastic baits and crankbaits from the surface to 20 ft. around docks, points and weed beds. Channel catfish fair on chicken liver, stinkbait, worms and punch bait at 10-25 ft. in channels, the main lake and creek channels. Pine Creek: August 10. Elevation rising, water 73. Largemouth bass good on spinnerbaits at 10-12 ft. in creek channels and around points. Crappie good on jigs at 14-16 ft. around brush structure and standing timber. Sunfish excellent on worms in the shallows. Channel catfish good on cut bait along river channels. Report submitted by Mark Hannah, game warden stationed in McCurtain County.


Robber's Cave State Park: January 20. Rainbow trout stocked, 700 pounds - approximately 857 fish. Report submitted by April Drake, secretary stationed at ODWC Southeast Regional Office. Robert S. Kerr: February 8. Elevation normal, water clear. Crappie good on minnows and jigs along creek channels, standing timber and brush structure. Blue and channel catfish fair on shad along flats. Largemouth bass fair on jerk bait around brush structure and standing timber. Report submitted by J. D. Stauffer, game warden stationed in Haskell County.


Sardis: February 4. Elevation normal, water 50. Blue catfish fair on shad at 25 ft. in channels. Crappie slow on minnows in channels. Walleye slow on crankbaits around points. Carp slow on powerbait below the dam. Report submitted by Dane Polk, game warden stationed in Latimer County.




Texoma: February 8. Elevation below normal, water 48 and clear. Largemouth and smallmouth bass fair on plastic baits, spinnerbaits and jigs at 10-20 ft. along creek channels and brush structure. Striped and white bass fair on live bait and sassy shad at 10-20 ft. in the main lake and river channel. Channel and blue catfish good on live bait, stinkbait and worms at 10-30 ft. in the river channel, the main lake and active cleaning stations. Crappie and sunfish fair on tube jigs, minnows and small lures at 5-20 ft. around docks, brush structure and creek channels. Report submitted by Danny Clubb, game warden stationed in Bryan County.


Wister: February 8. Elevation normal, water 47. Largemouth and smallmouth bass fair on plastic baits and jerk baits at 10-20 ft. along channels and points. Crappie, bluegill and sunfish fair on jigs and tube jigs at 10-15 ft. around brush structure. Channel and blue catfish fair on cut bait and shad at 10-15 ft. along channels and flats.
