Went out on the water the other day and became very discouraged due to fighting the wind with my trolling motor. My intent was to just spend some time on the water and work on my boating skills but I still wanted to wet a line. The issue was trying to work the boat (in the wind) and fish at the same time. To put it mildly I got my tail wooped!
Any tips or tricks would be greatly appreciated...I understand that nothing beats time on the water but looking for anything that may help next time I head out.
Side note: Left the boat hooked to the truck uncovered last night and wouldn't you know it we get 4in of snow just east of St. Louis :wallbash: 17ft boat does fit in the garage! LOL...you boat and learn.
