I bought my Nitro Z-7 from my local BPS and they have a service department there. I brough it in initially for a problem and it was Ok but I drooped it off last Saturday and they seem to be having some issues. Apparently they are down to one mechanic and it will take about two weeks to do the 20 hour service and to install the horn that was defective when I bought the boat. I called over there today (I try not to bother them because it slows their work down) and it sounded like they were in some kind of panic mode. It doesn't give me a good feeling having them rush through stuff just to keep their heads above water.

At this point I'd like to find a good service department that does Mercury mortors. I guess I couldn't use them for warranty work on the boat itself since that is Tracker Marine but they could probably cover warranty stuff on the engine.

Any reccomendations on how to find a good service department/mechanic/shop? I'd like to use the same place while I own the boat.
