Make sure you go over boat and motor well prior to using full blown as season is about here,check batteries for how full they are,fire extinguisher,whistle yes even if have a horn,kill switch operation,throwable cushions,and how well motor operates.
The older it is check even more so.It is a pia to enter a T and not have it start or say have it leak.livewells not pumping or recirc not operating,nav lights not working etc. Worse one can endanger themselves or others.
Wear your life jacket at all times when moving,
I often dont take mine off as ky lake is a roller coaster with a small boat less so in a 20 fter but at times even a 20 goes out of line of sight between waves.
And always hook up that kill switch if moving.
