How many of you guys have a camper on your truck and do a little camping along with your fishing?
I'm going to put a topper on my truck and custom rig it as a place to sleep so my son and I can do a little camping when we fish. I guess I like the idea of fishing different areas of the state rather than going to the same area I grew up fishing all the time.
I lost my bid to own the land I was after (its a long story, family feud thing in which I got screwed) so this camping thing has become my only option and I'm kind of looking forward to it.
I guess it'll cost a little more in travel expenses but we won't be stuck fishing the same water in the same area all the time. For me, it'll be like back to chasing the tourney circuit. This will limit me to every other weekend but thats fine, I can fish local on the non camping weekends.
So, if you camp/fish....how are you set up for it?
