Although a small front came through, i had to get out and try out my new trolling motor. Trolling motor worked great and i'm very happy to have gone with MinnKota for a change. As far as the fishing goes... wow what a difference a week makes. Last week, we caught 40-50 bass, including 2- 5 pounders and topwater was on fire. Today, we probably landed 25 fish in total but the topwater bite yielded maybe 3-4 bass. Most of the bass were deep and worms were the lure of choice. It was great getting out on the water. Even saw 2 boats that are part of my club out on the water practicing for net week.
