Boys... I finally splurged and got me a real meat stick. A rod that can get a 10 pounder out of the thick stuff. This thing is a beast and by far the strongest rod I am proud to say I own. I had recently also bought a Stunner Series 7'3 Fitzgerald casting rod and its also bad ass but this monster.... Wow! I was punching mats with a 1 ounce tungsten weight and a Gambler Burner Craw, twitching up and down once I got past the thick stuff and felt that THUMP. Set the hook and boat flipped a 4 pounder like it was a bluegill. Boys, if you are looking for a monster that will keep the big ones from turning their heads and heading down to the thick stuff, invest in this beast!
