Why isn't there a simple method to get read of scratches and damage to gel coat? I bought a used boat couple years ago, boat was and is in good condiction, but I use my boat to the full potencial, I mean I put my boat in places some would not put their canoe, but that's the way I am and like to be, still I try to take as good care of it as possible, and the scratches I put every year into my boats gel coat, (I call then scars) are ... just not that pretty even when I try to wax and polish it (something I seem to srew up every time I atempt to do it), I wouldn't mind having a professional detailer do some boat detailing for me, don't even know if there is suck a business. Anyway my point is when I call marine shops and mention repairs to gel coat scratchs, answers are always in the thousands $$$$. My boat still looks pretty good but would love to have that show room look on it.:D:D:D
