So I don't fish jigs. At all. Ever... It's a huge hole in my technique skill set. So I decided to remedy this by getting some new toys! I went to BPS and picked up a few Jigs to practice with.
I grabbed two swim jigs, two football head jigs, a set of bare shakey head jigs and some baits for them, and some trailers. I tried to vary it up a bit.
I already took the green and black swim jig out for a little test. Swimming it past a bed, the bass took a bite at it. I then bounded it a bit on a small log less than a foot from the bank, and got had a small 9 inch bass absolutely obliterate it when it slipped below the log near some cover grass. Can't wait to try them out on some other waters!
