Friday was a good day because my boat arrived safely from Florida. As most of you folks know, Friday was a mega Tornado day in Alabama. The Boone's Chapel Church that was so heavily damaged and the nearby neighborhood where 3 folks died in that tornado, was about 10 miles from where I am typing this now. The Hollon Family is dealing with the loss of three family members and my Daughter Graduated from High School with Cheryl Hollon who died in the storm. Her house was swept clean by the tornado. Nothing left but the steps and the slab.
We had wall clouds, funnel clouds and tornadoes around us all day, but a little after 11 PM was when death came to town in the form of the F3 that did so much destruction. Weeks, months, years, will go by and that day will walk through our memories for a long time!
Today is Sunday, Coffee, God's House, dinner on the grounds, more coffee and well it is just good to be able to type this and tell you about it! Makes it a good day!
