I'm finally getting my unit installed tommorow. I have a RAM mount but was wondering if these can be installed horizontally into the side of the console. The area to mount it vertically is a little limited near the console and I'm worried it won't sit flush. Will mounting it into the side of the console put too much stress on the fibergalss as the boat bounces around? Anyone ever mount one into the side of the console before?
