I just happened to be thumbin' through the BassPro catalogue and ran across the StingRay Hydrofoil stabilizer. In the description of benefits it states:
.) On plane in less time - OK
.) Reduced Bow rise - OK
.) Eliminates chine walking - say what?
.) Stop porposing - OK
.) Wipes out cavitation - mmmmm.... questionable
.) Delivers true stabilization - whatev'a that means.
.) Saves fuel - again - questionable
.) Improved top-end speed - my question would be - on what rig?
There were more claims but the chine walkin' and top speed really caught my eye.
