Hi Everyone, This is my first visit as well as the first post so please be kind to a newbie. I am currently looking at purchasing a HP171 Rick Clunn ( 1978 ) that needs to be restored, some glass work,carpet, wiring etc. but at this time i would really like to get some info (specs) on this boat. I have a Merc. 50hp that is currently on my 16' Alumacraft classic and want to know if this is going to work with the HP 171, shaft length, horse power (is it to little or is it enough). Can some one give an idea of the specs on this boat so I might have an idea as to whether or not to go forward here.
