Recently while I was having the damage on my lower-unit replaced I had Hydro-Tec take 3 lbs out of my Flywheel.
I have heard many reports of how this really wakes up your motor but I was a little skeptical of some of the reports.
All I can say is: WOW! I am extrememly happy with how fast the motor spins up. Acceleration is incredible. In fact, I would say it responds better than when I had the Phase II/stock flywheel. I can't imagine what the two mods together would produce.
This is a fantastic mod for those that want to wake up the performance of their outboard but still want th leave the powerhead stock and retain the ability to use low-octane gas.
