So I admit I don't fish like I used to. When I do go I feel guilty that I should be devoting that time to my horses. That didn't stop me from ordering $500 worth of new reels (I did get them BOGO though, kept three and gave one to Dad). Now to be fair I did sell 7 old reels, extra soft plastics and my one bank charger to fund that purchase. Walmart clearance between three different stores set me back another $100 but mustad hooks for $.75 a pack, name brand cranks $1, $.50 for jigs, who would pass that up? Found a gem of a new tackle shop and made several trips already this spring. Last week the rod and reel brand I've gotten into started their deposit program pre-order for next years goodies. 50% down then the rest when its ready to ship this fall. Another $400 order but its another two reels, a swimbait rod and two frog rods that will probably never throw frogs lol. I buy tackle like women do shoes
