[ICAST 2023] Three New Squidtrex Coming from Nomad Design
Nomad Design released the Squidtrex back in February in limited sizes and now has brought out three new sizes to ICAST 2023. This revolutionary new lure uses technology to combine a vibration lure, soft plastic, and a jig into one killer lure. The original sizes have already proven themselves with anglers offshore or nearshore. Now at many requests from anglers, they are bringing out these three new larger sizes; a 170, 190, and 220 size jig. They still have the same design of soft TPE construction of the skin and tentacles for durability and action, while the weight core shape with the TPE lets the Squidtrex vibrate through the water when trolled or jigged, waggling the tentacles around to entice a strike. The lure fuses heavy-duty through-wire construction for all the eyelets and comes equipped with heavy-duty BKK twin assist hooks. An additional eyelet is on the belly of the lure for anglers who want to add belly hooks. The 170 size weighs in at 8 3/4oz, the 190 is 14oz, and the 220 size is 21oz. Great for very deep water jigging or dealing with heavy current. Expect the new Squidtrex sizes to hit the shelves between quarter four of this year and quarter one of next.
