[ICAST 2025] A Space Age Spinning Reel – Trika Ti Series Spinning Reel
Trika, maker of high-quality fishing gear, is here at ICAST 2025 showing off one of their new space-age material fishing reels. The Trika Ti Series Spinning Reel is a new sealed spinning reel that is loaded up with advanced features. Inside the sealed body is a Diamond-Like Carbon (DLC)- coated titanium main shaft that resists corrosion and is incredibly rigid, giving no flex even under pressure. The drag for the reels uses titanium drag plates for better heat-resistance and smooth function when under load, letting these reels have a max drag anywhere from 10 to 20 pounds, depending on the model. The gearing for the reels has been micro-toleranced for smooth reeling and power transfer. The Trika Ti Series spinning reels all come with 8+1 ABEC 5 sealed bearings for better water and salt resistance and come with a one-piece titanium bail. This all combines into a spinning reel that gives incredibly smooth performance for the long run. The Trika Ti Spinning reels are available now in five sizes, 1000 – 4000, and the MSRP for the reels starts at $249 for the 1000 and goes up to $299 for the 4000 size reel.
