[ICAST 2025] SEVIIN’s New Aluminum Dream – Elite-Level GX Series Baitcast Reels
SEVIIN is here at the biggest fishing show of the year, ICAST 2025, with their new aluminum dream reel, the new GX Series Baitcast Reels. This is a series of six all-new 150-size GX baitcasters, joining SEVIIN’s GX Series spinning reels from last year. All of these new baitcasters come with a lightweight and rigid aluminum frame and gear-side cover. Inside that frame are 9+1 stainless steel bearings, an aluminum drive gear, and a brass pinion gear. The drag is comprised of carbon fiber and stainless-steel washers for smooth drag that delivers 13 to 21 pounds of max drag force, depending on the model of reel. Three gear ratios – 6.6:1, 7.3:1, and 8.1:1 – are available in both left and right-handed options, with all six GX Series Baitcast reels having an MSRP of $220. The new GX Series Baitcast reels all come backed by a One-year no-questions-asked warranty and should be available this December.
