For those of you who dont know, i own a shuttle / taxi service in Branson.
Last night, i was listening to my scanner in the van, i heard the police pick up on a stolen vehicle at one of our hotels, they looked and looked and could not find the guy, he was in room 207 but it was not occupied, they hooked up the car, towed it to a parking lot, where they began to process it.
They found dealer plates, and florida plates in it, all stolen! After 2 hours they towed it away, they also stated that a man and woman checked into the room, so i didnt give it much thought.
Earlier i picked up a 60 year old man from this hotel and took him to a local watering hole.
at 115am this moring, he called and needed to go back to the hotel, he was pretty drunk, but i thought i would still ask a question or two, I said "Hey, I know they have Jacuzzis on the top floor, what room are you in? He stats " 207, i automatically turn off the scanner, drop him off, call 5-0 and 5 of them show up and bust him, he also had a warrant out of KC for Felony forgery....BINGO! Nice Hit!
He stole the car from Enterprise..................
