On May 17th the Illinois Bass Nation held the last Bassmaster High School team tournament for the 2013 – 2014 season. Lake Springfield has been a great fishery for years and Joliet Central high school would prove just how good it is. Joliet Central’s team of Artie Dick and Sean Cook showed up and took top honors. Their first place weight of 11.57 pounds was topped off with the Big Bass for the event at 3.85 pounds. In second place were Dailus Richardson and Trevor McKinney.
