Well, I have one loose tooth in the front, decided to be pro active about it , seeing i didnt want it to fall out and not have a replacement in line!
Well, saw the ortho, they said atleast 6 teeth needed to go, but suggested to cut cost of putting me under twice to see a regular dentist first!
Well, i did that yesterday, they say all my teeth need to go, except for 4 of them. All of the tops and all of the bottom except for 4 molars.
Then i have to have two dental implants to hold the plate on the top and the 4 molors on the bottom will be able to hold the bottom plate.
Then today i get all the cost of this...............
$950 bucks for the molds and plates.
$3200 bucks for extractions and incidentals.
This amount is just going to kill me thru the winter - Jan, Feb and March
Next Wednesday I get the molds done........
I am pre scheduled to get the extractions done on Jan. 4th, if I can come up with the money!! Right now i have about 1,000 of it.
Over the years i have provided this site for free............and to be honest with you, it will always be for free. except for advertisers!
I donate all my time to the cops for kids foundation, and always donate the money to great organizations.
I was hoping that if every active member donated 5 bucks to keep our site up and running, by allowing me to pay for oral surgery, it would really help me. I feel bad that i have to ask, but i just dont have to money to this, but i really need to get it done, and i have no where else to turn to!!
The work that i will be getting is actually about 10k worth of work!
I know the last few years have been tough on all of us, I dont expect anything, but sincerely thank those who can help me.
