Kistler frog and slop special 7 ft 3 in
1/4-1 0z line 15 -35 heavy ,med fast action
carrot stix 7 ft 3 in 3/8 to 7/8
mh fast act
Both rods are light ,the carrot stix feels like a long fencing foil.
The kistler does not have a cork or section in front of the reel yet has more weight forward but still feels nice.
In common with both rods is a guarantee if broken they replace-snapping end off in a ceiling fan or rod locker
doesnt count, its for breakage by a fish or by normal usage.
As with any good frog rod they have limber enough tips to topwater fish, yet have the backbone to boat flip a 5 lb
Largemouth (my biggest test so far is a 4lb 8 oz),ALONG with any grass that comes with it.
Love both-got one as a year end sale ,other through elite.com, Brian Dowdy and a discount(friend of mine )not sponsored by.
Very easy on the hands and day long use even though they are long as weigh about half what you normally use to fish with.
Nor are they limited to just frogs can use for jigging ,topwater, hefty spinnerbaits, worming ,or if boat fails to start a pushpole.
I wont say you cant break one ,just cant envision the normal usage that would. They however are not rod locker friendly at 7 ft 3 in.
