Water temp 83 f,wind brisk at times producing a few white caps.
Grass is behind over last year as not near as close to the top.
No topwater bite to speak of and thats unusual,bandit 200,worked to some degree on suspended fish.
Real picker upper was worms either texas rigged or Steve Hubers wacky rig
he caught over a dozen schoolers on it most about 13 in.
I managed to get a few squeekers on the texas rig,but less fish over all,plum,blue fleck,plum apple were my colors.
I took Steve out for a spin went several places its like I could pick fish ghost towns real well,until we hit secret hole number 4.
Jackplate still in stuck down position so more or less putted around at 37-38 mph trying to show him some of the lake good thing im not a guide id have to refund his money.
Actually he did have a keeper on its just his guide ran over it with the trolling motor.
On the other hand its not the first time secret hole number 4 saved my bacon.
