Man, what a boat. Lowe sent some mini-tabs to weld on the second step. Took care of the porpoise and it's solid on the pad now. Hit 53.6 today on the GPS. Many thanks to Webby for his insight on the tabs. If you are thinking about an aluminum boat, don't pass up a look at the Stinger HP17 or 18. You'll be shocked at the value and features for the price. Never would have believed that I could run 20mph faster and burn the same gas as my old 70 Johnson.
