Here are the changes that most bass fisherman and High Performance jockies would be interested in:
Mercury Marine now has the 225 and 250 Proxs with standard and TorqueMaster models.
Mercury Racing. Gone is the 250xs and 225 Sport xs. Just two 3.0L Opti models. 300xs and 250 "Sport xs"
They seem to have gone back to really "pimping" out the Verpigo to the bass crowd again. Now there is both a 250 and 300 "Pro" Verado. No change in weight though...still the same overweight motor for most bassers. They are scrambling to have something to compete with the SHO in the Bassboat market. Mercury...sorry, you just won;t haveit with the Verado in its current state. Put it on a diet and give it a Facelift! Lose 150 pounds and the 350sci looks good, just make the rest of the 2.6L Verado's look like it.
