TROUT PARKS
Bennett Spring State Park: 57 degrees, high, dingy; spring level about 8 inches high and off color; best lures: ginger snap and persimmon and white colored marabou jigs, pale pink glo balls, pearl grizzly and blue colored Cracklebacks, cream midges, orange colored and white colored Rooster Tails, black and yellow wooly buggers with gold plated head, yellow colored Power Baits and kapok.
May fishing hours are 6:30a.m. to 8:15p.m.

Maramec Spring Park: 56 degrees, rising, dingy; water is very high and continuing to rise. Water clarity is diminishing due to heavy rains, color is greenish brown. Lower half of the park will be out of its banks by end of week. White and orange doughbaits are still working well. (Report made on 5/20/2010)
Montauk State Park: 59 degrees, rising, dingy; the river is up about 1 1/2' and rising as of May 20th at 9 a.m. The main channel is very murky and the Spring Branch is slightly murky. Fishing would be best in the Spring Branch.

Roaring River State Park: 57 degrees, high, dingy; recent rainfall has caused the river to rise somewhat, but no serious flooding has occurred. Water is somewhat dingy in the upper end of the park and and a little muddy below Dry Hollow. Fishing has been fair; heavier lines can be used; use bright colors. (Report made on 5/20/2010)
