Blind Pony Lake: 72 degrees, normal, dingy; all species slow; this lake is closed to private boats, and bait held or transported in containers with water is prohibited. (Report made on 5/26/2010)
Lake of the Ozarks (Bagnell Tailwater): 57 degrees, dingy; water very high, flood gates opened. Black bass slow using soft plastic worms; white bass fair on light colored soft plastics; catfish fair using cut shad, stinkbaits and worms; crappie fair on minnows and crappie jigs.

Lake of the Ozarks (Niangua): 74 degrees, muddy; black bass fair, try any crayfish looking bait, Rebel crankbaits are working well, also jig and pig; crappie fair, a lot of little fish right now, go deep and in brush for the bigger fish; catfish good in the backs of creeks using cut shad or live bluegill. Lake of the Ozarks (Osage): 74 degrees, dingy; black bass fair, try any crayfish looking bait, Rebel crankbaits are working well, also jig and pig; crappie fair, a lot of little fish right now, go deep and in brush for the bigger fish; catfish good in the backs of creeks using cut shad or live bluegill.

TROUT PARKS
Bennett Spring State Park: 57 degrees, spring level a little above normal and off color; best lures: ginger snap and persimmon and white colored marabou jigs, pale pink glo balls, pearl grizzly and blue colored Cracklebacks, cream midges, orange colored and white colored Rooster Tails, black and yellow wooly buggers with gold plated head, yellow colored Power Baits and kapok.
May fishing hours are 6:30 a.m. to 8:15 p.m. June fishing hours are 6:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m.

Maramec Spring Park: 56 degrees, Spring Branch is high but starting to fall. Water is very muddy. Use bright colors and scented baits to attract fish. (Report made on 5/27/2010)
Montauk State Park: 58 degrees, the river is 6" to 8" above normal and falling as of May 26th at 1:00 p.m. The main channel and Spring Branch are dingy. Fishing is good on all baits with the best fishing in the morning and evening hours.
