Lake of the Ozarks (Bagnell Tailwater): 78 degrees, high, dingy; black bass slow on worms and dark colored soft plastic worms; white bass slow using light colored soft plastics and crappie jigs; crappie slow, try minnows and crappie jigs; catfish fair on worms, cut baits, stinkbaits and chicken livers.

Bennett Spring State Park: 57 degrees, the spring level is just above normal and off color; best lures: pink and white colored and white colored marabou jigs, bedspread colored and John Deere colored mini jigs; moss colored and brown colored roaches, white colored and brown trout colored Rooster Tails, grey scuds, yellow colored and white colored Power Baits and red colored and white colored Trout Nip, orange plastic worms and white colored and easter egg colored glo balls. September fishing hours are 7:30 a.m. to 7:15 p.m.
We will be cutting weeds September 21 and 22. We will begin around 8:00 a.m. and finish by 3:00 p.m. each day. (Report made on 9/15/2010)
Maramec Spring Park: 57 degrees, rising, after the recent rains the water remains clear with good flow; fishing early in the morning is producing the best fishing; pink, white, and orange doughbait is working well; bubblegum Power Bait and green and white rubber leg jigs have been effective. Montauk State Park: 58 degrees, the river level is normal for this time of year and steady as of 8:30 a.m. on September 15th. The water is clear. Fishing is good on all baits with the best fishing in the morning and evening hours.

Roaring River State Park: 59 degrees, the spring is clear and normal; yellow, white, and pink worms have been working very well; brown, white or fluorescent orange power eggs are doing well; use jigs in olive, brown, white, and black; in zone 3, minnows, nightcrawlers and Power Bait paste baits continue to work well.
