I finally retired my 1989 Bass Tracker Pro17.
The problem is the trolling motor. <o></o>The side rails keep falling off when the pin falls out, simple c-clip that just does not work.
I went to the Bass Pro in Foxboro Mass and explained the problem to the guy behind the parts desk. He proceeded to go in the back and come out with the same trolling motor with the exact same problem. Turned out to be a defect in the way Motorguide designed the mount. What are my options?<o></o>
Should I write to Motorguide directly? I took lots of pictures.
I also have a pinion gear problem, turns out the stuff inside the foot control is "PLASTIC"
