Five years ago when I purchased my Nitro I added the LMS 334 c igps (bow mount). As I am completing my pre-Spring prepping I noticed my sonar would not turn on, tried hard boot, soft boot, even emailed Lowrance tech support and this is what they told me "

We apologize for the issues you are experiencing with your unit. We offer a service option for the Lowrance products that have been owned by the original customer for no longer than 5 years. Anything that has been owned longer than 5 years cannot be serviced. Based on your serial number, we show that your unit was shipped from our warehouse more than 5 years ago. If you have purchased the unit within the last 5 years, then we will need a copy of your Proof of Purchase in order to offer any service options through our 5 Year Service Advantage Program. If the Proof of Purchase cannot be provided, then we would not be able to offer any service to your unit.

This was my response back to them,
"This WILL BE the last time I EVER purchase another Lowrance product!!!!! Sad thing is that I went from Hummingbird to a piece of crap!!!!.......And you can not even tell me how to fix it!!!! If it were not for the big names that you sponsor, trust me your products would not stand a chance against Hummingbird or Raymarine. Keep dumping all your money into marketing eventually word of mouth will catch up".:hook
I am not only giving Lowrance the "Boot" but sending the off with a nice middle finger wave!
