Abiquiu Lake- Fishing is very slow.
Morgan Lake – Bass fishing is good. 5 - 6 inch Strike King Plastics and Finesse worms in dark colors with bright colored bellies are reported catching the fish.
Navajo Lake – Fishing pressure has been light with some Small-mouth Bass being taken but they are slowing down
Cochiti Lake – Slow for all species
Conchas Lake – Fishing is improving as temperatures cool down. White bass are fair, all methods are working with a few big fish reported
Santa Rosa Lake- Had our October tournament there early this month, fishing seemed to be fair using senkos against the large rock wall, also the tried and true method of flipping beaver style baits in the numerous standing timber.
Ute Lake-Water temperature is around 64 degrees, main is lake clear and river arms are cloudy. Over all the fishing pressure is light, but the fishing is starting to pick up a bit. It is not on fire, but it should improve as the water temp lowers. White-bass are fair, Trolling deep running lures in the main channel. Expect 2 fish per hour. Slabbing in 30-40 feet of water has also been working, but you need to be on top of them. Small-mouth Bass are excellent using orange colored crank baits in 10 feet of water and Drifting minnows in the 10 foot flats. Most fish are 10-12 inches long
Elephant Butte Lake – Fishing pressure has been light. White bass, many over 14 inches, are fair with shiners or white jigging spoons. Striped bass are very slow

The weather has gotten cold very quickly here, most lakes are still upper 60's, but I expect them to drop pretty quick. The fall bite is right now fellas!

These are all the main Bass lakes, if you would like a trout report I will post these as well.
